The truth about Alpha 1
Alpha 1 is really an advanced combat AI built by the Terrans. Everyone thinks he's just an unusually quiet ace pilot but hes really just a machine that is built to control pilots via a chip implanted in their heads, that's Alpha 1 is so amazingly competent and unkillable. Once the GTVA figures out how to mass produce him the Shivans (and UEF) will have to contended with dozens of Ares and Perseus fighters armed with  Trebuchets and Maxims slaughtering Maras by the thousands and deturreting destroyers in less than ten seconds.

Wake up sheeple!

No, it's the result of an experimental combat drugs program. :)

Re: The truth about Alpha 1
Imagine if the GTVA could find a way to have thousands of Alpha ones? Imagine if they had entire world spanning clone factories dedicated to the mass production of expendable super elite pilots, pilots known to get inside the Lucifer's hangar. Pilots known to single-handedly disarm Sathanas juggernauts while fending off hordes of Shivan fighters and bombers. An armada of these incredible Mavericks commanded by more of their ilk. An armada capable of outdoing both the Vasudan Imperium and The Galactic Terran government's respective navies combined and that would attempt to overthrow them in a mere quest to become more efficient at destroying the Shivans. So much it would ironically attract the Shivans in order to destroy the overpowering nightmare they created. A victory there would never be. Begin, the Alshivan wars would.

There is strong, and then there is Alpha one strong.

Join the Alpha Empire.

Re: The truth about Alpha 1
Alpha One's real strength is his ability to time travel back to the start of each mission to ensure optimal outcomes are achieved.  I think Tom Cruise had this superpower in a recent film he did, although I never saw it.

Edge of Tomorrow; do yourself a favor and go watch it.  It's on Netflix, I believe.  Probably Google Movies as well, and others.
