What a bunch of idiots. All of them. I've never heard of anything of that sort happening in Europe. Sure, there's honking (French, or at least Parisians, seemed particularly horn-happy when I went there) and sometimes curses, but nothing of that sort. Granted, at least in Poland, everyone does drive like they were the only person of the road (other vehicles being just obstacles), but I've never seen anyone get out of the car unless it's actually been damaged (and even if it has, though if the other party gets your numbers before you make off, you're in serious trouble). Indeed, even when there is a close call, both parties will usually do their best to drive off as fast as they can instead of making a scene (so even if one of them tried, the other would likely just maneuver around him and speed off). Lousy driving will get honked at, but that's it. I think it's like this in most of the Europe and in Russia as well, at least. Road violence is mostly courtesy of drunks, and that's usually against the police trying to cut their trip short.
