mission variable weapons - default is anti-fighter (Pirahna?), or Helios / Trebuchet for anti capship.  I had a shell weapon, basically a high power heavy dumbfire, to make up for the weedy beam cannon.

BTW, is Rhino any better than Blender for modelling?

Rhino is MUCH better than Blender.  I downloaded Blender and couldn't figure any of the controls out.  Rhino was a snap.  sadly, the demo only allows twenty-five saves.  I found a way around it though...

Actually.... you should have emphasized the "MUCH" a lot more..   For modelling, Rhino rules. Period.

Now how can I convert the GVCa Nameless from Rhino into FS2?

Once you get used to it, Blender rocks. I used Rhino for a while, didn't especially like it's way of modeling.

I still wish Blender had a better UV texturing system and .cob output.

I gotta admit, that Vasudan Carrier model looks massively sweet. The Terran one is cool too, especially that beam weapon, but it has nothing on the Nameless.

Yes, the name is the equivalent of the GVCa Default Ship, etc...

I'm glad you all like the model. I just wish Rhino had better texturing capabilities so that I could get the ship to look the way I REALLY want it to...
