Own WAV Radio Messages - FRED and Game doesn't play them
Hi people, I'm new and i hope this thing wasn't asked before, but the searching funcion didn't give me something out i could use.
When i make a Messages in FRED, everything works fine, Text appears, the scripting also works well. Now i wanted to extend and recorded some WAV audio files to have "real" radio messages during my mission, but they are not played. Also FRED does not play them when i hit the button in the Event Editor. Do they have to be some specific WAV or ogg bitrates or in any specific folder to be played? My computer's serching function somehow was not able to find the standard files of the radio messages or their folder.

Thank you already, Fredding is really fun ;)

Could you tell us what the issue was, and how you resolved it?

Sure. I recorded some WAV files for ingame radio messages between ships and so on. I placed it in C:\Games\Diaspora\Data\missions\Folder for selfmade mission. The game couldn't play the files, then i played around, made .ogg files out of it and placed it in C:\Games\Diaspora\Data\sounds\. Here The game plays the radio messages perfectly.
