I don't know if anyone esle knew or not but one can Download FS2 off Kazaa...   i don't know about U but it kind of pisses me off..

I bought it for like $20 and if I had known... oh well just kind of ticks me off thanks for reading this (if anyone does)

I dont hink 140,000 in cash would of been enough, something like 2 million would of made FS2 a top game for years IMO.

I found this game by accident, and im sure many others have as well.

I found out about FreeSpace 1 in a PC Gamer demo disc (like the only time I've ever played a demo in a gaming magazine) in like 1998... been around since. I guess that was effective marketing for at least one fan..

FS1 was actually marketed fine (not great but not bad either); it was FS2 that they completely messed up on in my opinion with regards to advertising.

A couple of my friends obtained FS2 via downloading it. Unluckily for them, it's a rip. Missing things like movies, high res textures, extra features - only having the proper CD's will give you the full experience, and you won't find many places to download 3 iso's from.

i too got hooked on the demo from PC Gamer but i wouldnt hav downloaded the game. especially not from Kazar. U wudnt believe wot people do on it. My mate got a virus that multiplies and fills yor hard drive. Other people i know have downloaded huge files thinking they were the latest game and they were a load of junk.
