Downloading mods from the FS2 Open installer
I haven't played for some time so I recently reinstalled the game via the FS2 open installer. I checked off the boxes for several mods which were available but many of them haven't downloaded due to errors. I have tried searching for some of them online but most websites seem to be defunct such as the one for Shivans. Is this a temporary issue because the installer is a relatively up to date version. I am using version 2.1.10

Re: Downloading mods from the FS2 Open installer
Have a look at this thread.  Some of the hosted files for the mods have been either deleted or moved, causing 404 errors.  I'm awaiting a response from the maintainer of the file hosting site.

The mod authors are responsible for the hosting site used, so they would need to change their hosting & installer configuration files.
