Looks no worse than most really big forums I've seen as regards to spam... it seems like the trolling ratio goes up geometrically with community size. Which might make sense, since a community of 12 people is gonna be kinda close-knit and have its own rules, while a community of 100,000 is gonna have hardly anybody knowing anybody at all, and have the rules be effectively unenforceable on the occasion that someone goes rogue or you get a wave of new trolls.

I quite agree. One hilarious post I read said that environmentalism was useless because God said we could have dominion over the world so do what we like, and that he would "provide" - thus they believed that if ecosystems were destroyed God would magick up something else.
