yes thats right this is the backstory for the demo mission that will be out beefore the main campigan and this is also subject to change over time coments are wellcome.

In the Ross 128 system a scouting wing of 3 Loki class fighters are on watch….. Delta1: So what are we doing out here command? There’s not another ship in this system for 10 light years. Command: just do your job and report anything out of the ordinary. Delta 2: Oh great now they got us out here to find something that we don’t know about? Delta 3: If command wanted your impute they would ask for it now start scanning! Delta 2: Ok…. ok- 2 seconds later I read nothing. Then as if out of know were a troop transport and 1 other ship jumped out of subspace. Unknown ship1: Mayday! Mayday! To any ships in the Ross 128 system please help us!!!!  Delta 2: This is Delta wing of the 723rd please Identify your self? Unknown ship 2:  This is the GTA Elba we have taken on heavy damage to our sensor array and our weapons are non responsive. Command: All ship identities are confirmed what happened? Lambda 1: We were on our way out of the system when we were hit by some unknown ships, we never had a chance! Delta 1: Calm down your going to be all right now just stay calm…. Lambda 1: No! You weren’t there you didn’t see them! Lambda 1: they… they just came and ripped through us like we weren’t there! Command: How many ships were with you when “they” attacked Elba?
 Elba: Ah….. I think about 5 other ships, a science courser and….and 4 escort craft including a courser. Delta 4: Ok command you reading this? Command: What do have Delta? Delta 4: It looks like a….. Oh my god. Delta 2: What? What is it?! Delta 4: It’s a shivan ship! Command: But that’s not possible! We cut them off a long time ago, Are you sure? Delta 4: Oh ****!!!!!!! Just then a new class of shivan fighter and bomber jump out right on top of them with a new type of ship. And open fire on the transport, and delta wing.

sounds like the fs1 intro sutscene, a little bit. Cool idea though.

Id bloody well hope the GTVA have more then 723 squadrons! Thats about 11568 fighters in total. That was barely enough to cover the skys of Europe and the Pacific, now imagine all the systems and vessels they have to escort/protect/scout etc.

But how big is a squadron? It varies. It can be four wings or it can be six wings... Aparently.

Like I said this will probably change but for now thats what it is, and as cuting the Shivans off I mean the colapsing of the two jump nodes from capella, it's not that hard to miss that when you play the game is it?

I know it's like the FS intro but I will be changing it so thats not the prob. What I need right now are some help with the story.

Thanks for the imput, and as for the 723rd thats the new squadron you fly as in the later part of the campigan.

Well what I need is someone who knows the FS1 and FS2 story line so we have a background to to use, and names of potential characters, and ships.

I did not take things from the FS game and if I did I don't know how I don't even have FS, and have never played Derelict. And I do need help with the consept for the Campiagn.  "hint" "hint"

Give me some room to work here It's hard doing this with only three others to help out, and with the website for it not up yet It will take some time ok?
