Head on over to GOG to get Saints Row 2, they're giving it away for a short amount of time.

Thanks for the heads up :)

They're also doing GOG Connect for all the Saint's Row games on Steam. Get those DRM free backup copies!

Grabbed. Just over 30mins left if you want it.

They've also slashed the prices massively on other Saints Row games.

30 hours left. Not minutes. :p

I'm going to have to grab Saints Row 4 in that case.

Picked up SR4. Can't go wrong for that price. Already got SR2 and 3 on sale when they were first released on gog.
If I agreed with you, we would both be wrong

Honestly though, Saints Row 2 has an abysmal PC port that makes the game almost unplayable. Unless that's been fixed, I wouldn't even want the game for free.

The gentlemen of the Row mod helps a heap with that, and there are reports of the GOG version not having some problems the steam version has.

Regardless, I would still recommend picking up Saint's ROw 2 and indeed *all of the Saint's Row games*. If you are a fan of :v:, you will most likely enjoy them taking on the GTA franchise. SR3 and 4 offer some of the finest experiences in gaming. SR2 has the best character creator outside of the sims. SR3 has a brilliant subplot where it questions the value of hearts and minds and shock and awe by putting you in the perspective of the insurgency and SR4 is basically :v: taking the JAD approach to their own franchise. Seriously, pick those games up. You owe it to yourself as both a gamer and as a :v: fan.
