I had some spare time so I did up a few images to give a rough idea of some of the systems in Nodewars. This batch includes Sirius and the main worlds of the extended Core Worlds Axis.


The original homeworld of the Core Worlds Axis or CWA, ravaged by war only the polar regions are now habitable.


The closest terran type world towards the galactic core, Eltanin is home to the secretive true masters of the CWA. Eltanin has made itself scarce in the galactic scene for excellent reasons.


Another dark corner of the galaxy, Sirius is now home to foul deeds of those who served a genocidal madman who attempted to conquer the known universe.

Here's one I just made



Marshlands, in the Bountiful system, is the CCR's main source of food and what makes the CCR an agricultural powerhouse. Along with most of the other planets in the system, Marshlands has an almost utopian feel to it. Hundreds of varieties of foods and vegetables grow in its fertile, near-jungle climate.

Ironhold, in the Scorneus system - capital of the Congaree Confederate Republic.



Etheria, in the Etheria system - capital of the Etherian Colonial Combine. I just realized I forgot to change the backlighting from Ironhold. :(



A dead planet. Probably a rendering of the future - when the DNA-UTC war breaks out and the TSA decides to show off. :D

NeoTerra, capital of the NTU. A prestine planet on the edge of the volatile Coalsack nebula.


The world physically closest to the galactic core in the galaxy, it has been declared the new capital of the CWA, to consolidate their new gains in the outlands. It's lords wish to turn this barren wasteland into a paradise as an undying testament to their power.

Vasuda Prime, capital of the Vasudan Imperium. Devoid of almost all surface water drinkable by even Vasudan standards. In the far distance the Hopscotch neutron star can be seen.


Proxima, a major system within the Solarian League it houses the majority of League spaceyards beyond those in the Sol system itself. The massive, primary world in Proxima serves as a deuterium resource for the League's fuel-hungry fleets.


Homeworld of the vile Parliament of Deneb, these Vasudans seek only to overthrow the Emporer and install their corrupt regieme that predates the Terran-Vasudan war. The Hopscotch neutron star looms with every dawn of Deneb.

Ix Vaan, capital of the system XXN-1927.  The system is nicknamed Zen not only for it's stellar prefix, but for the incredible determination the first settlers demonstrated in braving the twin neutron stars of Thermopylae and Gateway.  The neutron stars are visible in the background.

Could someone make Darin?

it will have a green/purple hue, earth-like in terms of atmosphere, although the clouds have a reddish tint to them, and it has several rings set at a 45 degree angle, and 2 satellites.


a purple nebula in the backgrount could be Columbus' Point..


1024x768 would be cool :D


Ali, with your permission, can I use these for the main NW website?

Just an idea of the top of my head, but having these planets available as backgrounds mods in FS2 would rock ass, IMHO. :) :nod:
