How do you get the thruster .ani's to display in the game?  Whenever I tried, they didn't show up.

Well, do they show up in ModelView?

The only thing I can think of is that possibly the size of the maps is dodgy when you've mapped them - I've heard that can be a problem.  that said, I haven't had any problems like you said, to I'm not too sure.

well, I have a funny one: user made thrusters just doesn't show up on my comp... but they do on darkage and woomeister comps...
You should have someone to check your models for you, coz you never know...

It's all good now.  Something I loaded it up one time and they were just there.  I don't know what I did

Maybe it was because you replaced a thruster that already existed. That's the only way it works for me.

you can use a 4th thruster glow if you specify a 4th species in the ships.tbl.  It even works in FRED2.

You can't have a thruster04.ani as a texture? Oh yeah.... glows... well, who cares...

It may work in FRED2 but it never worked in game for me.
