At one point in my life, I knew exactly what was happening, where I was headed. My life was great, my very own command of an elite unit. The 70th Blue Lions, my squad, where heroes. We had saved thousands of lives in Capella. That was 6 years ago. Now, the GTVA is falling apart once again. The economy is lower than ever before, and it does not look like it will get better any time soon. This is in part due to the return of the Shivans, invading our systems several times. Nevertheless, each time they came back we defeated them. Now our problems lie inside our boarders. A group known only as the “Protestors” has been building a small fleet of military surplus, plotting to use it against the General Assemblies brightest star. Representative Nan’su of Altair is our last hope for prosperity. His plan could bring stability to the entire quadrant. It was during this time of despair that I lost my vision of the future, my good name was tarnished and I was reassigned to a dead-end post in the farthest reaches of space, Tania Austrailis. I knew something was wrong, something that extended into the deepest fathoms of the Galactic Terran-Vasudan Alliance. What had started as a routine police action had turned into a nightmare from which I had been cast deep into, with the hopes I would never return. I have only one chance at proving I am right, before my enemies can be rid of me, permanently. And there are many of them, and few allies to rely upon. But there is one ally who none thought of; one who would aid me in my quest through the halls of Valhalla itself; an ally from the most unlikely place imaginable. I will redeem my name, even if it means fighting the very Alliance I swore to protect….
