Sorry to dig this up.... but has anyone confirmed this?

Actually that isn't possible. The demo is about 60MB and it can't have it all. Besides why would they put all those missions and data and graphics to  demo version?

You are right actually, I've been speaking to this mate of mine and it turns out that for this to work you need to download "some extra files". Probably the missions.

Hmm... that's pretty cool, do you know exactly which "extra files"?

Hey, I never said that I'd actually do it  Yeah, I have FS2 but I try to play all the Spacesims I can. I think I saw starlancer around for cheap anyway... *kamikaze goes searching on ebay*

Well when the source-coders start releasing stuff, FS will encompass starlancer, anyway.

Has anyone here ever played the Germany version?
If you understand german buy it and you will laugh about the sincro of the voices. Everyone has its own dialect. English (Texan maybe), Japanis and so one. Even the germans have there dialect...can't remember that I ever had such one ^___^
Its just funy...ok most people don't like it, but I think it makes much of the atmosphere in the game...since all members of your wing are from different countries its realistic that they don't speak a perfect german.
Don't know about the english version, is it the same there?

About the problem that fighters can destroy caps...have you seen how big this Tropedos are? Show me a fighter that can carrie them! OK you could say the designers should make them smaller, but with this bomber protection becomes a realy importent part of the game..in Freespace you can use you fighter or leave it to a cap ship.
Beside that the weapon tech in StarLancer is not that far as in Freespace2.

Hmmm, yes. The accent/dialect thing is very similar to The Darkening. Many's the time i've heard a russian say, "Where I go, death follows."
