fs1 port, what's not allowed?
I was just wondering what is NOT allowed to be ported into fs2 from fs1. I know all about the fs1port project, and I am working on a MOD that will make fs2 look better with the port. So far I have the selection icons (pallette has been changed). I was wondering if there was away WITHOUT MESSING WITH THE SOURCE to change the main fs2 interface pallette to the fs1 bluish pallette. It would make my MOD a lot better.

fs1 port, what's not allowed?
data/interface contains all the backgrounds for the various menus used in the prelaunch interface. Some filenames have been changed from FS1 to FS2 so you will have to make the proper adjustments.

The places where you click aren't in the same place. I was trying to redo the Main Hall, but I don't know all those coordinates.

Heh, that's easy enough.
Run the game, while in the main menu area (with the animated people and lifts and stuff) take a screenshot.
Open it in a picture editing program and take a look at the thing.  Move the mouse around and you should see the pixels in the corner.  Just rove about till you get a general idea of where you want the interface to be and then change it in the vp.
