I've recently gotten into shoegaze/dreampop.

I became enthralled with that genre in late 2017; the music helped me thru a rough patch (similar to how NIN's "The Downward Spiral" helped me thru the mid-90s).  Here are a few of my favorites.

Everyone should listen to this criminally underrated band.  Her voice is absolutely hypnotic.

Somehow I missed this band when they were active.

For those of you wondering, this is the music from the Buck Rogers episode "Space Rockers." Yes, this song is from waaaaaay back in 1980, but it's perhaps the only time in all of human history where disco and techno were mixed and the result was actually awesome instead of horrifying. (Though I could do without the rythmic clapping that starts at 1:28 and lasts through the rest of the song....)
