A really stupid drone mission

So to unwind a little from working on the Amazon model, I thought of really stupid and maybe funny missions to make.

Well here's one dumb idea I had recently. You, in an Ares, fighting 64 Amazon Drones.
The drones have Kaysers.
You have training lasers.

Then someone else suggested I give them anti-fighter beams. That's what the tables file is for.
Casual is for the Kayser'd drones. Lunatic is for the beam'd drones.

Makes missions sometimes.

I just make myself invulnerable and fire custom cheat bombs with huge shockwave radius at them for firework use :D

Best result I got was 36 kills. Flew in a straight line away from them, then watched as they converged into a line and bumped each other to death. :lol:

I turned around and thought I could take the rest. Shot two of them down before I realized how much trouble I was in...  :shaking:

I used the same method, except once all the drones were in a line, I would do a 45-degree turn, A-burn until they were in a line again, (while staying generally within 10 Kilometers) then repeat.


At a few points, the drones started to blow up in chain reactions, I saw about 10 go off at once.


After about 30:00 minuets of this, there were only 15 left, averaging around 30-17 health each, so I dogfighted (dogfought?) the rest and WON!

Hummm... *grumble grumble*, I made it too easy...

Uh I mean, Congrats!  :)
Didn't know it actually was possible to defeat them all but it's certainly a workable (albeit time consuming) strat.

Now do Lunatic Mode

Put the drones all in one collision group so they clip through each other and can't collide ;7
