With the issues with my Hardware soon('ish) to be resolved I can finally share the development roadmap for remaining development time of Memories of the Great War.
Version Range 1.1.X:
[SYSTEMIC] Balance Update 1
As detailed in a post in March, each Version Range will include Balance updates including but not limited to the mod's contents.
[RAIN ON RIBOS IV] [HELLGATE: IKEYA] [LIGHT OF ANTARES] "Skyfall"-variable integration
A little work for a future content update, all three released campaigns will receive back-end updates to allow progression in them to affect a future feature with the working title "Skyfall". Unlike the changes to the campaign files in 1.1.0 this will not reset progress, but there will be no automatic adjustment of the "Skyfall"-variables, as that is not technically possible.
[RAIN ON RIBOS IV] Content Restoration
I already talked about it at some time, but the re-release of RoR was a crunch job. As such some content was cut to in favor of making the deadline. This is includes new dialogue sequences in Mission 16 and Mission 17a to tie it closer to Hellgate: Ikeya and the canon FS1 narrative of the Mission Aftermath, as well as a new credits sequence.
Additionally this will move the introduction of the SB Barghest to an earlier point of the story, allowing a much more gradual presentation of its capabilities.
[RAIN ON RIBOS IV] Balance Curve Adjustment
Just as the same with the Content restoration, the crunch time mean that balance of the campaign was only touched up at points, leaving the end product in an uneven state between the original release and the update in terms of balance philosophy. During Version Range 1.1.X this will be addressed.
Version Range 1.2.X:
[SYSTEMIC] Balance Update 2
Depending on the feedback to Version Range 1.1.X's Balance Update, in Version Range 1.2.X there will be another systemic balance update.
[SYSTEMIC] Update to Systemic Vasudan Audio
Currently MoGW uses the Systemic Audio from FS-Port unchanged. Starting with 1.2.0 MoGW will use an adjusted table and voice files to replace voice lines that assume the player is Terran.
[ALDEBARAN ANACRUSIS] Campaign Release
Aldebaran Anacrusis is a short - 3 missions - narrative campaign that serves as a prelude to Vega Must Burn. The GTCv Roland is ordered into Vasudan territory on a mission to help safeguard the fledgling treaty between the GTA and PVN.
[VEGA MUST BURN] Campaign Release
Vega Must Burn is a short - 5 missions per play-through - campaign. In order to re-organize their defense against the Shivans, the PVN leadership has called for a fleet muster of 5 destroyers and numerous support detachments in the Vega system. However, this gathering of PVN ships and crew is also an opportunity for the enemies of the PVN to strike from within...
["SKYFALL"] Beta version Release
In Version Range 1.2.X a function-only version of "Skyfall" is going to be released. It will be lacking art and some of the content may be restricted until the full release. "Skyfall" is intended to help to keep up with the stories of MoGW and their context in FS1 canon.
Version Range 1.3.X:
[SYSTEMIC] Balance Update 3
Depending on the feedback to Version Range 1.2.X's Balance Update, in Version Range 1.3.X there will be another systemic balance update.
[SYSTEMIC] Custom HUD Gauges Widescreen support
Due to personal preference, the custom HUD gauges for MoGW will not support widescreen resolutions for the HUD officially until the Version Range 1.3.X.
[ANTARES IN ASHES] Campaign Release
Antares In Ashes is a short - 6 missions - campaign with added minor management elements. With the retreat of the PVN from Antares, it falls to the GTA to stall the Lucifer's progress from Ribos to Vasuda. However, just because the Lucifer would bypass Antares entirely, it does not mean that Shivans would surrender this front. The scattered defenders of Antares will find themselves hard-pressed to hold the line.
["SKYFALL"] Full Release
In version range 1.3.X the previous unavailable content and art for "Skyfall" will be patched in and performance improvements will be made based on feedback to the beta release.
I would like a give definitive release dates but sadly there are some outside factors I cannot fully account for at the moment.
