Not have a point?  Of course it has a point.  It's the whole attraction of power.... being in power, or being powerless.  It's also a matter of trust, letting someone tie you up implies a decent level of trust in them.

Bondage doesn't necessarily mean pain... some people find the restriction of movement to be erotic (or to control someone else whilst in an erotic environment as well). You don't have to cut them or whip them or pour wax on them to perform bondage acts on them... but some people like that as well.

As for wanting to tie her up instead of being tied - perhaps he likes to be in control, nothing wrong with it and as long as both peopel agree it can be a pretty cool thing either way.

There are of course people who might misuse bondage or be weirdos who go a bit to far - but just because someone likes bondage doesn't necessarily make them weird, just "adventurous" in that way.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with you - that part of things doesn't apeal to me either, but it does to some people... and the way I see it - it's better to tell people the whole story than to leave out parts and have them get the wrong idea about things...
