I was playing BTA2 on 2.0.5 and the most recent FSO official build of 24.0.2.
I selected the easiest BTA2 difficulty setting ("easy") and exited options back to the mainhall. However, when I would go back into options, the difficulty was on the second button ("normal"). It was like this for other options on the first options screen (voice/music/effects volume)...I would select a choice and leave options but when I went back into the options room things changed back to the default setting.
The weird thing is on options that were selectable when going deeper than the first options screen (selecting presets for controls/targeting/etc.)...those selections stayed even after exiting options and returning back to options.
Has anyone else encountered something like this or have any solutions (it wasn't super super difficult but there were some spots I would have liked to been able to play the easiest settings on)?
Other than that, BTA2 worked fine and was a great campaign.
