-is possibly infected with the SOBIG virus, especially if they carry an attachment. do not open these attachments. a dozen "corporate" auto-security mailers have already mailed about a dozen emails to me saying i tried to send them a virus from my hotmail account. Although i dont open these attachments nor emails cause they end up in the junk, its a big problem for everyone. so if u get an email similair to the one i just described, burn it like in fahrenheit 451.

I don't think that I have been infected, but is there a program to install that will protect me? Or will the newest Norton updates do it? I'm really not too keen on getting infected, so if anyone knows of a way to prevent it, please post it here..

exactly my point! people open **** no matter where it comes from cause half the time they swear it some dumb ass email. bah idiots... they will be the death of us all!

If hotmail knows it's a virus why doesn't it delete the dangerous part so you can't infect yourself?
