This is the second version of my Freespace 2 Update Pack.

Every one of them is in their last version/update, with every extra effect and Voice pack (if avalible).

REMEMBER: This is an UPDATE PACK and can be only be installed over a FULL FREESPACE 2 INSTALL! The setup check for those files and you whould not be able to install this pack whiout having a FULL retail Freespace 2 Intall. If you dont be able to install it is because you either selecting the wrong folder or missing a retail file (docs and movies files are not checked).

My older pack is not longer supported by neither me or the community.

Fix1 (opcional, Recomended):

Fix1 can no longer be downloaded, because the file has been deleted from axifile. But not to worry; the fix would have only done 3 things that you can do yourself:
1. Remove OpenAL32.dll from your \freespace2\ directory.
2. Download MV_Music.vp and place it to \freespace2\mediavps\ .
3. Redownload Transcend (which was missing a cutscene) from the release thread.

i hope this will help in reducing bandwitch use for you guys

This is just a pack, credits goes to the original authors of everything inside, there is a lot of stuff in here, is hard to know every name involved, sorry.

oops: There is a extra campaing not listed in any credits or info file, just here, its STL, is in.
oops2: I accidentaly removed the transcend .ogg ending cutscene :S i cant add it now, sorry.

Known Issues:
-Missing MV_music.vp file, out of my hand, i dint know it was not inluded in the MV_Complete.vp(Fix1 incluides this file).
-Transcend is missing its ending cutscene (Fixed with the fix1)
-There is a older version of "OpenAL32.dll" in the Freespace 2 folder giving problems of "Failed to read flag file", delete it, this file should has been never in there. (Fix1 will also fix this)


Fix1:
This is not intended as an update, im not going to give any updates, this fix is to solve the problem with the missing tracend cutscene, and the mv_music, i also incluided minor updates like R5063 CVS, a updated ST:R core file, and the older "OpenAL32.dll" file on the main folder is deleted.

BTW, GOG may give you the download, but it will never give you this privilege

Uh, I might be a bit slow here, but why does your pack contain Turey's Installer if the Installer would alone get all the other stuff your pack contains? Apart from a build as new as yours.

Updates.

Including Turey's installer means that anyone who gets it can also update all their installed mods to the latest versions simply by running the installer.

That doesn't matter now if all that stuff is up to date but it's really useful later on.

The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.

I have the full install via the Turey installer, versoin 3.6.10 and the 3.6.8 Media VP's (mp-710 Effects) installed and most of those add on campaigns....is it worth while for me to upload all of this?  I saw a mention that Turey's intaller would update things, can i run that to get what is new?  just checking. thanks

If you already have all of that downloaded, this wouldn't really do you much good.  Turey's installer should have most (if not all) of these campaigns available.

As a side note, if you're still using the 3.6.8 VPs, you'll definitely want to swap those out for the new 3.6.10 release, which you can find in the FS Upgrade Project subforum.  I'd recommend against using Turey's installer for them at the moment, since several people have been experiencing file corruption when grabbing them from there.

just delete every folder, inside freespace2 folder, except the data one.

OK, Houston We have a problem

i had to update my installer,and then i got this error:

A section specified in the install config could not be found (3.6.8 Zeta MediaVP's With 710 Patches)

Do you want to continue without the missing section?
The installation might now work, but missing files can be downloaded when the resource is fixed.

i went ahead and updated and ran it thru twice..how do i get the missing files in? put them in by hand?
