I am actually very glad you came to that conclusion, as that's the general style I'm aiming for.

If any part of that destroyer does seem familliar, I'd suggest it was the big ring. It's based on the ship from an old (but still pretty neat IMHO,) cartoon Ulysses 31.
The first design of the capital was rather bland and needed that special something to make it a little more unusual.

ghhh... I'm still not sure about the design for the appollo mk2 (sorry, I have something against the "Batwing" cockpit ), but the maps.... raaaaaaaaaaaaaah, one day i'll be able to do the same, i swear.
Oh, btw, in the FS2 forum, someone asked what was people most favourite mod. He was talking about campaigns, but I'll take it "modelwise", and I'll say your interceptor is the best FS2 ship design I've ever seen, period.

edit: forgot a word (cockpit) :p

As to the 'Apollo Mk2' yep it's still here, but that's just the name the Alliance initally uses for it.

IJLEAD(14:07:04): Whoa! It's Dark! Cool!
NEWLEAD(14:07:07): hey dark could u make sum models 4 me?
CDLEAD(14:07:14): Yeah, that's a good idea. But we've got some spots open and some great ideas...already have the storylined ironed out.
EFLEAD(14:07:18): Hey, Dark, we've got a modeller position open, and we need a few texturers as well as renderers for EF! Wanna join up?
NEWLEAD(14:07:20): d00d, CD is a dum campaign u dont have any story. dark should mod 4 me.
GHLEAD(14:07:22): Dark, CD isn't that original and EF is just another one of those return-to-earth missions. GH is much better than both, but we need more modellers.
*ABLEAD has entered the chat (14:07:26)*
CDLEAD(14:07:29): Oh really, newlead? You can't even spell or capitalize your letters. Don't listen to him, Dark!
ABLEAD(14:07:36): Dark!? I've seen some of your renderers, are you looking for someone to join?
NEWLEAD(14:07:38): u r dum

It's no wonder he's never online if he gets stalked for models every time he's online

Dark! Great to see you here dude, how does it feel to be something of a legend in FreeSpace Lore? ;)

And I must say those models are as impressive as any of yours I've seen - keep up the good work when you can :)

So the "Apollo Mk. II" is actually the Warlock? So no one will care if I make my OWN Apollo Mk. II?

BTW, here's the concept pic I'm basing it on:

Where else do you think I got it from? The only reason it's in the GTD Wolf dir is because Geocrap won't allow linking to outside sites.

YAY! Dark is here! :D
That interceptor is amazing, the textures are nice and I've basically never seen a more original and pretty design...

Now, I wonder if I'll ever be that good.... :p

That destroyer drawing is definitely V quality work. Do you plan to have any of these ships in your campaign?

Nah, I'm at my grandparent's, my copy of FS1 is 160 miles away. Also, I uninstalled FS1 when I downloaded GE's port.
