This is a Work-In-Progress pic for a high-fantasy fighter/warrior type. Pretty much I'm slowly but surely adding to it, tweaking armor parts, etc.

nice, but the spikes around the breats plates kindda get in the path of the arms... a single sword swing, and the only people she'll hurt is herself.

I don't know why, but there seems to be something wrong with the belt....

I could use a few hi-res textures like hair

It's a WIP, we're supposed to critique it. It IS an art forum, after all.

The breast armor I think I'll keep since it has sort of a Planescape feel... The neckarmor I'm still tweaking, the lighting in this quick render makes it look flat, and so I'm still working on that. Also the loincloth has been given an overhaul.

Despite the small things I mentioned, I'm actually pleased with how this one turned out.

Very good work, I love the fantasy feel of it. I will say one thing though - somehow I think she should have heavier thigh/back/stomach protection. The mail she has isn't just skin-hugging but looks like it could be easy enough to slice in two :)

Very good, and if it's still a WIP, I can only say that keep up the good work. :yes2::nod::yes:

And you seem to be the only one who does lots of those renders with a human in it, and it's always good to have artists with different renders.

And now even the face looks pretty good. :)

The trick I found with the faces is the expression. It turns out that all of the renders before shape wise and texture wise are anatomically correct... for a corpse...

With a tiny bit of expression added (narrowing eyes, a little snarl, or whatnot) then the "correct face" looks more realistic, while before the people looked fake because no one has an expression that deadpan.

I've done a little more work on it, I've added a new texture as well as working on some leg/thigh armor.

Getting better and better... :yes2::nod::yes:

The part over breasts is a big improvement over previous versions, and legs, though they already looked good, and belt. :)

Looks pretty realistic.

them spikes on them breastplates hinders alot of her movment, not only does the spikes prevent to move arms aswell as the shoulderplates... the spikes also risks cettign caught in the chainmail on them arms... otherwise excellent details

Ace, the Posermaster :D

Very good job, and extremely good job finding the way to make the faces look better

Also the hair looks warriorish too...

but I must agree that the spikes on the breastplate doesn't really suit into the picture. And this coming from a person who likes anime quite much :D the spikes in anime characters armors are usually elsewhere though... eh, whatever... nevermind, I got distracted

hmm... what colour you used in the light... it looks like the face is a bit green :wtf:
And how about a bigger sword :D
Habeeb it...

Doh..dont have a decent image, oh well.

Can't see much but it was modelled from scratch in 2 weeks for a uni project...the coridoor you've all seen before, i think.

The weird face tattoo is because i forgot to remove another model "underneath" that one.
