What changed to nerf mob spawns again though? Can't be any of the plugins...was working fine even with them all disabled just before the server got attacked.

nothing changed, it's an identical bukkit version to before as well.

Etho experimented with that in his most recent LP video; it's a no-go. The dragon attacks you however low you are. However, he didn't experiment with building far away from The End, horizontally...

I still say we should split area of the server up and give universal permissions to trusted users. Limit new people to edit a specified area.

So, Grimper led me into The End to mine End Stone, when we decided to start to build a few things near the entry point. It seems the Endermen were interested to see what these strangers were doing, and gathered on the ridge.. see attachment.

Done a bunch of things there, it's impressive how far the void area seems to stretch, could be almost endless.

He did that without creative, it's funner that way anyway. Where's the fun in working over a bottomless void of darkness if there's no danger?

Umm. I went to The End today. Already nuked all the crystals and got the dragon to about 50% health. Am I allowed to do that? :nervous:

I used ender eyes to locate where the stronghold would have been, then regenerated that terrain, we've been running the same map for nearly 9 months now
