Well Avenger asked me to post about the fact that he planned to make a little prog taht would allow in one click to search and move all the mod files when you want to play a game in mplayer, and, when you're done with mplayer, you push the boutton and all the files are moved back. He wants to know what you're thinking, so any comment is welcome.

It'd be cool to see something that lets you have multiple campaigns with different tbl files and such loaded at the same time so you don't have to switch things around to play anther campaign.

Agreed, it's sometimes hard to keep track of every campaign you've installed and all of it's component parts. That kind of proggie would be very handy.

I guess it could be useful, As far as program basics go. All you need to do is make multiple Table folders with a numerical exension Ie Data1 Data2 Data3 etc and use the program to swap/rename according to users mod playing wishes, you could have all the models in the same folder (assuming that no two models are named the same from different mods) and also the maps folder (as to prevent unsightly messups in multi) although the maps/models folder edits are optional i hope ive either given some inspiration as to how the program would or eliminated a problem that im just too stupid to see at the moment..

Thanks for all of your comments, i was originally just going to make a program that scanned the Freespace 2 folder and moved all campaigns out of the way while you play a multiplayer game, but with all your sugestions i will make something slightly different, if you want to know more you will have to goto http://www.hiddenterror.f2s.com/  and find out some more details. If anyone has any more ideas for the program that i am developing and/or would like to see some other functions on it that you would find makes playing freespace 2 easier then please comment in the hidden terror forum. As i do not check this forum often

it works in conjunction with the UAPI installer

from what i can tell that program only works with your own packages and those packages (or the upai or whatever u call it) does not work on my computer, it crashes it!

This program that i am developing will work with all campaigns and a few extra things. The first BETA release is due for saturday so any people willing to be BETA testers please put your names down on the hidden terror forum at www.hiddenterror.f2s.com
