That was fun :), I do enjoy quizes and such things. Despite the actual topic its on. hmm.. a few too many high's in this one I think.

The problem with these tests is that they assume that a person can't keep a pretense. For example: "Do other people accuse you of being manipulative?" No, they don't, because they don't know that I'm manipulating them.

I'm pretty sure that's wrong - though I tried to answer honestly. I think I have a fairly well balanced opinion of myself, and occasionally like to be the center of attention.

/me is unable to function in society.
This was a lot more depressingly depressing than Dekker's

Most of my answers should be 'I don't know' but there's no option so I rolled a dice.

Online personality tests are incapable of distinguishing tendencies from clinical signs (and the terms used are clinical). Absolute garbage, though potentially amusing.
/me notices that the test picked up on his narcissistic and obsessive/compulsive tendencies as moderate.

I don't understand the High for schizotypal. I don't look for ghosts, dress oddly, feel paranoid, or ascribe to magical thinking. =/ Maybe it was the difficult to follow speech patterns or the avoidant traits.

Especially compared to the rest of you. You know nothing out of this surprised me. I sometimes have my OCD like moments... nothing extreme but there. Not entirely sure what Schizotypal means on the other hand. I can be Avoidant... but then sometimes I wonder if I have a Type A personality in me desperately wanting to confront everything.

Well, I've thought as much for the past few years... :(
Edit:
"Avoidant personality disorder is characterized by extreme social anxiety. People with this disorder often feel inadequate, avoid social situations, and seek out jobs with little contact with others. Avoidants are fearful of being rejected and worry about embarassing themselves in front of others. They exaggerate the potential difficulties of new situations to rationalize avoiding them. Often, they will create fantasy worlds to substitute for the real one. Unlike schizoid personality disorder, avoidants yearn for social relations yet feel they are unable to obtain them. They are frequently depressed and have low self-confidence."
:blah:

This test tells you nothing, please do not draw conclusions from it.
-
Yeah; don't let an internet quiz get you down. This is most likely just as accurate as the "What's your spirit animal" one.

I think (read hope) most people here understand that. :p

Well, it sort of only lasted for a few minutes if it did, it's just that sometimes things just seem really crap, but then I can feel on top of the world in a lonely kind of way, i.e. sort of happy and sad at the same time  And I do seem to forget that it is just some internet thing that shouldn't be used for conclusions... :p
But one thing that always makes me feel better eventually is music, even if it makes me really sad first. And it isn't emo-screamo or metal bands turned up to drown out the sorrow, I don't get that. :)
The fantasy worlds thing is true-ish though, I tend to ignore things on purpose, and block things out of my mind, in fact, it is annoying because now I block things out so well that I can't think about what I've blocked out, i.e. super shield is up, none shall pass...you may not access the vault ;) Need to fix that one...

As I said earlier, the test is using clinical terms and attributing them to very mild (and often transitory) traits that you are declaring. In terms of accuracy, it's akin to palm reading or other "psychic" nonsense. As personality disorders are largely just normal personality traits expressed in extreme ways, it is absolutely no surprise that we all have some characteristics that (if expressed in the extreme) are diagnostic criteria for a personality disorder. However, this test is incapable of detecting if the answers you submit are clinical or completely normal. In fact, the way the questions are worded and answered, it is much more likely to pick up on a potential personality trait as a false positive.
Even the people scoring very high on a particular PD almost definitely do not meet the clinical diagnostic criteria. It's a silly test designed to confirm the biases of the people who take it and are most likely to take the result at face value. In terms of actual psychology, it's worthless.

dude an esteemed poster just said the test was crap and you should not read into it
wait no I think I can diagnose you with i-don't-read-posts disorder

If someone who did have a real disorder, wouldn't that effect the outcome of a self-administered test? Like if I'm seriously delusional then my answers will reflect who I think I am. I've met people who have very flexible definitions of exaggeration or confidence or being outspoken. Like people who don't realize that people call them selfish or arrogant behind their back.

That's the biggest problem with tests like these...

"Yes, I'm obsessed with personallity tests, doc"

as for my results: they are in bounds of my personality last time someone measured them (although there is an outrunner to Paranoia; I don't quite get where that comes from...)
