/me feels sadly outdated.... :p
Science alone of all the subjects contains within itself the lesson of the danger of belief in the infallibility of the greatest teachers in the preceding generation . . .Learn from science that you must doubt the experts. As a matter of fact, I can also define science another way: Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts. - Richard Feynman

*thinks that he will be picking Radeon 9700 some day*

*thinks that it is good*

Well, if you buy a good grapihcs card now, it isn't waste. It will work well in future games too, and you don't have to upgrade it for a while.

Actually... what I've learned is this

If you are going to play and/or tweak with 3DMark most of the time, Geforce will be a good choise

If you are going to do somethign else too, then get a Radeon.

Habeeb it...

Doesn't mean my GF4 can pump it out though, so it's a worthy investment :)

Glide was definitely the best of the APIs as far as gaming went; too bad it did not last. :(

Not sure if I agree. At the moment, Radeon 9700 beats Geforce 4Ti4600 in gaming and in 3DMark.

True. I agree that my opinion is a bit onesided, but there is no match for 9700 in the market yet...
