What I find stupid in 99% of all robot cartoons/series is the control method. I mean, controling a humanoid robot (head, legs, arms (with fingers!) + all the lasers, cannon and other stuff) with 2 joysticks and several buttons!!!:wtf:

Actually it does - more than a couple of nukes.
The S2 has so much power - it's method is beyond our understanding - that the first Angel melted the entire souther polarcap and sent the Earth's axis off course.
BTW ordinary Evangelions are powered by an umbilical cable - and most Evas or Angels can not witstand a nuke, but with the S2 it is possible.
