To be fair, the military isn't keen on that sort of descriptive terminology.  shame, really, because it'd be nice to see the ****ing massive plane holdy ship class sail out of port.

kinda like aussies with some of our native species..

"hey look, a snake... and it's brown, let's call it a brown snake!" or
"hey look, that spider has a red mark on its back.. let's call it a red back spider!"

Pah, I do remember BFG meaning big ****ing gun, but I don't remember it written anywhere in the game, so that's really not a major point.
Plus I don't think anywhere in the movie they will say "hey man! take your BFG9000 - which by the way means bio force gun, is a 1900000A plasma charging bolt thrower with AF7002 accus, delivering powerful projectiles that melt enemies on impact, and give additional damage to the targets around the impact point - and let's kick some ass!"

Oh no.  We can't even have kissing, it's far too dangerous to show any kind of attraction.  God, if we carried down that path we'd end up reproducing!

It says big ****ing gun in the doom bible.

BFG 2704 (red). Horrible hallway-scouring weapon. Damages user a bit. Awful
recoil. BFG stands for "Big ****ing Gun." Safest use: back to wall, distant target.

You forgot the synopsis of RE the game.

Any references to "RE" in my post are references to the games, not the movies whatsoever. Oh, and there's probably spoilers in here. Read at your own risk.

Umbrella develops T-Virus, it reanimates dead cells, makes zombies. In RE:0 some psycho old researcher (forgot his name) for Umbrella uses the virus on leeches and himself, and makes himself into leechman. This is the first release of the virus, and it spreads through Raccoon forest, eventually to the mansion and you've got RE:1.

Around this time, another Umbrella scientist (William Birkin, Husband to Annette Birkin, father of Sherry Birkin from RE:2) is developing the G-Virus, a hyped up version of the T-Virus. Umbrella sends a military force to take the T- and G-Viruses samples from William, and they shoot him in the process. He injects himself with the G-Virus and it saves his life, but mutates him into a big nasty.. thing.. with a giant eyeball in his arm. He proceeds to kill the Umbrella military force, the virus cases are dropped and broken, the virus gets out and is spread by rats through Raccoon City, and you've got RE:2. (I'm pretty sure the virus already started spreading from the mansion incident of RE:1, however, they did make a note to show the rats getting the virus in an FMV of RE:2).

RE:3 takes place during same time as RE:2. Nemesis is created by Umbrella to hunt down and kill the S.T.A.R.S. members, specifically Jill Valentine in RE:3. Your objective is to escape Raccoon City as Jill, and in the process you kill Nemesis. He is in no way a friend from the past to any character. You kill him with a railgun from a battleship, and a magnum. You escape the city in a helicopter with Carlos, a mercenary hired by Umbrella. As you're flying away, Raccoon City is nuked.

RE:Code Veronica takes place 3 months after RE:2 and 3. You play as characters from RE:1 and RE:2, siblings Claire and Chris Redfield. You deal with Alfred Ashford who is in charge of some random island that Umbrella put him in charge of where they're conducting reserach. You also run into Albert Wesker a few times, a S.T.A.R.S. member that goes bad on you in RE:1. Finally, you fight Alexia, Alfred's sister, who has been frozen and slowly infected with the T-Virus to control her mutation. Instead of leeches like the old researcher in RE:0, she uses ants with the virus. She wants to be the queen ant and rule the world or some such thing. You kill her. Wesker gets away, even though he's been stabbed, burned, crushed, etc... he has some sort of virus in him too, but it's never really explained.

RE:4 takes place 6 years later. Umbrella is shut down because of their questionable activities (ha). You play as Leon Kennedy from RE:2. Some cult has resurrected body controlling parasites (called las plagas) in Spain, and they kidnap the president's daughter, Ashley, to infect her and send her home. They also somehow have a sample of the T-Virus with which they were planning to resurrect Umbrella (doesn't explain much more than that). You kill the cult leader's left and right hands, then the cult leader himself. You meet Ada Wong again (Leon meets her in RE:2), but she's working for Wesker. She points a gun at you (at the end of the game), takes the T-Virus sample from you, and jumps onto a helicopter and takes off, presumably headed to give Wesker the sample. We don't know why.

There are also RE:Outbreak games, but they're more for multiplayer fun than story I believe.

As you can see, I've played a lil' RE in my day. I wrote all of these off the top of my head, so if I made any mistakes, feel free to correct them. Any questions I can most likely answer, so feel free to ask. :)
