KotOR 2. Or, The Price.
Having enjoyed the original, but never having gotten around to picking up KotOR2, I decided to look around at what the prices are.

$40-$50. $50 in all the brick and mortar stores. For a game that came out in February.

This is insane.

So you don't find only a $5 drop over 8 months to be odd?

Try renting it. Even if you have to do it several times it would probably end up being cheaper.

You think that's bad? I'm still seeing places selling Halo for $50. Not Halo 2, not Halo: Super Special Deluxe Action Figure Edition, just ordinary Halo.

It's a LucasArts game.  Jedi Academy was $50.00 until a few months ago.

Odds putting it a bit mildly.  You can get, say, that tinned Half Life 2 special edition for 20-odd quid in the shops here.  Halos' a tenner (PC).

It has kept it's price up, hasn't it?  Shame they didn't bother to finish it, or it might still be worth that today.

Heh, while I was looking for KoTOR 1 last february or so, I found it selling for 50 euro, for a year old game, same price as its sequel, needless to say I didn't buy it

I got KotOR when it was new.

I have an urge to play the sequel now, though. I may be forced to pick it up in the next few weeks.

I assume you are referring to the PC version as the Xbox version hit platinum long ago and therefore can be had for $20 and less.

Microsoft would sell it for $100
