I said this elsewhere, and I'll say it again here.  Why is it important enough to ask?

Some people like that cartoonish look.  Some applications make it more or less necessary (a robotech mod, for example, would benefit from this).  But ultimately it's just to change the look of the game, much in the same way as the improved shockwaves/effects have done though in a slightly different manner.  It's really not worth derailing threads over.

It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

If you must ask, then it is not possible to provide an answer that will satisfy you.

And it is -cell, though without the mv_cell vp you won't see too much difference.
You could also call it a "command line parameter", although I'm probably the only person who uses such an archaic term anymore.

Or an "argument" or "arg" or "parameter" or "param"

Edit: And in the source I think it's "parm".

FYI it was Galemp that textured the high poly RBC and released it a little while back. It was in the highlights.

It's never been released if it's been finished. Unless it was released on GW or GTD Bastion today.

If you've got it, someone with Max can get it in-game directly.
