True, but he was one of the greatest minds ever.

He made thousands of patents, many of which are so complex that some scientist today still haven't figured them out.
When it comes to electricity, he was the king there.

This is him reading a book in his lab...With 100000 volts of electricity running all over the place!

I always wondered what happened to his plans for a deathray. Hours after his death, the US government confiscated all his documents, so maybe there's a secret laser weapons sitting in some hidden hanger.

Is that the original, unedited animated GIF from the 1930s?

no, it's made aftera few photos of him that were just like that.

Tehy said he practivcly lived in his lab, constantly sorrounded by electricity jumping from one coil to another.

his assistents were scared as hall working in there, but he moved trough the room with utter confidence, knowing to the centimeter  exactly where the charge can reach.

@Rictor - I heard some rumors (and read), that not only did he make plans for a shield, but allso otehr hadvanced projects. Remeber the Philadelphia experiment? - it was Tesla's work.

b.t.w. - do you know Teslas parents were Serbian and Croatian, he was born in Serbia but took Croatian natinality?

[color=66ff00]Remember that voltage is not as important as current or frequency when it comes to how much respect you give electricity.

You can be carrying around tens of thousands of volts in static on your body. Ground yourself before you handle those new network cards. ;)
