for more info on the said story. It seems that 71 opts (in game models for xwa) are done, and 71 more are needed to get this thing ended. I just heard the news and felt I had to say it out loud here and on the FS upgrade forum , since for all intents and purposes XWAU is trying to do the same thing that happens here, only their job is harder, as the engine is older than FS2 and they can't tinker with it.

If a mod feels that it is double post and spam (both here and in FSupgrade forum), please delete the offending post.

And if anyone of you modders, and creators of imaginary star figthers extraordinaire (R) feel like it, head over there and give those guys a hand to finish of the remaining 71% sooner rather than later.

Interesting news, although I have to admit I thought they were further along towards finishing?

Not that I don't wish them the best of luck, and what they've done already is very impressive. I just... thought they were nearer to completion.

I'd say most of the important stuff is done, there are a lot of models that are only used once or twice in the camapign.

i guess they don't have nearly as many insane modelers as the FS upgrade project does.
