Brilliant. I wish our public service TV would spend our money in such a cool way.

Hehehe, and for those of you that don't already know, this is what a Reliant Robin is when it's not being a space-shuttle...

As long as I didn't get anti-hotlinked, you should basically be looking at the 'coupe' version of the van used in Only Fools and Horses ;)

Edit : In fact, I think that is the van version I have a picture of there.

Re: The British Space Program....
British space program you say? I would like to take this opportunity to pimp Warren Ellis' Ministry of Space graphic novel. All you loyal subjects should go out and buy it; it's a kick-ass read. Basically, the Brits win the Space Race big time and have sprawling space stations and whatnot, decades ahead of everyone else.

The best of British engineering.

Guess you guys didn't grab enough captured Nazi scientists to make a decent space vehicle :P
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
