Quote from: Article
The article goes on to describe a European-specific launch party for the game God Of War II in Athens, in which a dead goat was allegedly used as a prop to promote the game. The Mail on Sunday claimed that guests were coaxed into pulling cooked offal from inside the goat’s stomach, while also being dared to pull live snakes from a pit, throw knives at targets and eat grapes being held by topless models.
Holy **** that sounds like an awesome party.

To be honest, our (UK) newspapers have never exactly been something really worth listening to if you want the full unbiased truth.

I don't know,  there are times when only the british newspapers will say something that for somereson the american newpapers will not publish, or atleast that was the case durring the begining of the President's war in Iraq.

I like the blonde with the painted boobies, but that's just me ;)

I think the problem is that most journalists in the UK seem to have got a degree in creative writing without going near Homer, so they have no idea what the relevance between killing a goat and Ancient Greek sacrificial customs, which is what this was based around.

The goat itself was actually bought from a butchers shop as is, they didn't kill it, and the 'entrails' were actually offal, but still wave a carrot like this in the front of many of our tabloids and they wouldn't be able to resist.

Things is about Papers who aren't afraid to report anything is that on a quiet day, they have to make a mountain out of a molehill purely to make it look like they are doing their job.

...but the brits obviously disagree...

Correction: The Daily Mail disagreed. That's nothing new, as Flipside pointed out - they like jumping on bandwagons. In fact, recently they had a front page report entitled something like 'Abortion: GP's Doubts Grow." The article revealed that 1 in 4 GPs thought that abortion was a bad idea, and that 1 in 5 wouldn't refer any patient for one no matter the circumstances.

In other words, there are some GPs that think abortion is bad, but the vast majority of the medical community still think they're good.

Oh whoop de doo......really sensational guys.....
