Speed would be a useful superpower.  Not so much being able to run fast, more being able to teleport.  Imagine all the time you would save if you didnt have to travel to work for instance.  A holiday would be much more practical, just teleport there and you could relax before you go home again to bed.

In this case it does, since by definition alone the power is that you know everything then anything possible is available to you, since you know how to achieve it or how to go about finding others or other ways of achieving it in some form. Thus if it's possible, it can be done.

I could probably go for being able to transform at will, so long as there were no size limitations. Hell, you'd take over the world in no time.

But personally, I'd be more than happy if just some of my inventions worked a good deal of the time. Any more "super" than that, and I can't imagine but that you'd end up miserable (and the more powerful, the more so. Imagine being all-knowing or all-powerful- you'd go out of your mind from boredom within a month!). That, and is any real percentage of the stuff I made functioned reliably, I'd not only be a billionaire, but I'd be several MDWs ahead of the US. Think of it- what good is a nuke when opposed to a hypervelocity railgun capable of launching a couple tons of granite for much the same effect?

IIRC Q of Star Trek suffered badly from that problem, personally I'd rather be a powerful figure in any given setting than god-like. That is to say I'd rather have the position of Gandalf in LOTR, One of the Eva pilots in Evangelion - that type of thing. Something interesting but without complete power, where you could make a difference to others and had a purpose in life.

On second thought, I think I'd like to be all-knowing for about a couple of months. That way, I'd be smart enough to finish my campaign with little trouble in that time. And once it wore off after two months, I could play my campaign like it was brand new, because I wouldn't be able to remember how I designed it in the first place!

Would that be cool or what?

Jeez... what did I say about restrictions... Youd have the will to use the powers, just because you have the power to punch someone, dosn't mean your arm constantly spazums punching people. You wouldn't phase through the earth, youd phase through whatever you thought about phasing through. As for speed, read my first post. Same deal with all your other little complains.

Oya, and there was one dealing with matter... but it wasn't ... working out too well.

Keep in mind with the mass knoledge you get, you'll also have knoldge of peoples fears, hates, etc. Sure youd then have the knoledge to control your fears, hates, etc, but that assumes that more people have the ability to suppress a fear vs people having that fear.
