A little heavy on the bump-maps, but decent otherwise. I added a wee bit of Volumetric lighting. Rendered in MAX with Brazil™.

The Myrmidons are a bit dark compared to the big ship, but aside from that it kicks ass, I love the style!

I hate Myrmidons.

Great pic, Ryx. now all you need is some other capships in there to give it that authentic battlegroup feel. Those new AWACS will do. ;)

Definately a destroyer, maybe superdestroyer.  I like those turrets, though they don't wuite fit with FS, and the ship's overall design though.  I just looks really long for some reason.

Man, I look at all these ships and I can't help but think whenever I texture something it looks funny, but all of these look good. :yes: nice render.

Since it's now a big fleet, I suppose 'Shakedown cruise' might have to change to something like "5th Fleet On Patrol". hmm... Ideas?

I meant name the ship, but putting a title for the pic itself inside the letterbox framing couldn't hurt. Of course, now that I think about it, there's no letterbox framing, that's just a long aspect render, isn't it? Well, a title somewhere in one of the corners (preferably the upper right or lower right) would be good.
