If you're looking for a Greek style name ... Minotaur,... the outcroppings on the front ... with the angle of the top set I think that name would fit .... unless it's been used of course (Can't remember it's been toooooo long since I've played FS)

But she is a really sweet lookin ship :D

Fenris is Nordic.

I think the point is that the names are classical mythological (Greco-Roman and Nordic; anything you could find in Edith Hamilton's Mythology is fair game).  The Vasudans and Shivans (Egyptian and anything Evil and/or Hindu, respectively) use mythology almost exclusively as well.

Nordic != Greek

The point was that not all Terran ships were named after Greek stuff, thus discounting Stryke's statement.

Stratcomm's general rule is far better, I'd say, but one I'd not bother to follow, myself. Tennyson is a perfectly good class name, in my opinion.

Well, I don't know, I personally could never get over a ship class named after a poet.  I am in favor of a rename, though I agree that it doesn't have to be mythological if you don't want it to be.  Just please don't name it after a star system or a Victorian era poet.

Very good, but the front is a bit too blocky, try smoothing it out a bit.
BTW, about that turret in front, does it work? I heard FS2 had probs with vertical turrets.

Personally I think the entire thing kicks a hell of a lot of ass. Incredible job!

Is this ship slated for a specific mod? If not would you be willing to allow it to be used in Beyond Redemption?
Don't think of it as being outnumbered. Think of it as having a wide target selection !

It's a public release. If you can get it in game, you can use it.

NICE!!!

I can't mod to save my life, so when this is fully converted (i.e. you can use it as-is, without messing about with paths etc.) PLEASE put it up for download somewhere!

The turrets on top look a wee bit fragile, so you could just make the stalks a bit shorter and thicker (I also like Hades' Vulcan cannon idea). A Deimos/ Hecate - style skin would be cool too!

Kick-ass ship, so keep doing stuff like this.
Any fool can pull a trigger...

Note: just the model + texes. It still needs the POF stuff etc.

These are the 'raw' model files. It still needs the pof/ts stuff. If anyone has converted it properly, I don't know.
