Thou = Middle English 2nd person singular subjective case personal pronoun, equivalent to "you" in modern English.
E.g.: "Thou scurvy knave!  Where hast thou put my pants?"

Though is the word you are looking for, Fetty.

And what do you mean "it needs work"?  That's an awesome ship just as it is. :)
Sesqu... Sesqui... what?
Sesquipedalian, the best word in the English language.

Nice enough model, but the textures look kind of Cartoonish in places.

I probably wouldn't say cartoonish as much as overlit. In the game with its shadowing I bet the textures will look nicer.

Overall, a nicely done model. Although am I the only one who thinks the forward section is too small? Either that or the neck's too thick. Though it may simply be the angle being displayed.

You two stop being silly, Sesq if you spend all day every day you wouldn't be able to nail every spelling error that goes on around here. Anyway anyone reading this thread would have gathered what he was trying to say. There's such a thing as doing too good a job matey. ;)

Yeah, the perspective is just squashing it. Looks really close to the canon model.

 • This site stole my work
The detail is great but who else thinks it looks just a little "washed out"? Hopefully I'm wrong and nobody else thinks this :)

You're right about the perspective squashing it. In the initial picture the neck looks wider than it is high, in contrast to the canon model. I'll wait patiently for later screenshots before making any further judgements on the mesh.

I temporarily "borrowed" the pic and darkened it a bit to see what the result was, it looks much nicer. So nothing to worry about there since the game will render it darker in general.

I'd have to agree (I have the same problem with the S:AAB Hammerhead at the mo..).  On this monitor (at uni) it looks fine, but only because the brightness is turned hideously low.  It needs darkened, or extra shagding added, or even some noise IMO - at the mo it's too 'clean'.

i think hes talking about scratches and similar or/and to increase a little the contrast of plating

btw may be a problem to give me the background of these textures? (i mean the plating)
i think i may use it in the future for the star destroyers

I think it needs more grit, especially on the 'struts' ... it looks a bit too shiny for a military vessel IMO.  There's something a bit.. odd.  Not sure exactly, almost like it's been slightly over shaded in some parts (so you end up with almost a pseudo-cell shaded look).    Plus the cgi picture posted by ZB looks a hell of a lot darker, and I'm assuming that's a plain model render (i.e. not lit in a scene)

Note that objects on a white background will appear darker than those on a black background.
