Has anyone ever made a working tractor beam?
I say working because I know the common theory is that a beam with a massively negative mass would turn the trick - however upon trying this myself, I got a rather rude shock - it didn't work. I can think of a really good use for one, and I think a decent way to make it look very different to current FS2 beams - but I need to have it working first, so, has anyone ever had any luck?

(Oh, and BTW, I'd like to avoid SC changes if at all possible, though if this has/will be added at somepoint in the future, I'd like to at least know about it.)

The best thing I could think of is having an invisible transport dock with the ship and tow it around to wherever it needs to be.

I got a working repulsor beam somewheres, complete with ice cream dispenser. :p

The idea was to use it to push bombs and bombers away so fighters could deal with them.

I gots a couple idea for a tractor. Let me fiddle and get back to you.

I know you can make a tractor pulse cannon, but the tractor beam won't work right.

The way it fires, it applies the mass constantly. This leads to it spinning around the center. Hence, you need to use a tractor pulse and fire it right at the center of gravity of the ship.
