the hobbit has been written for his young nefew -> it was a book for young kids. but the LotR is also overdescriptive ( which for me is good, I like to be able to imagine the Rohan the right way, etc ), so if you don't like that...

You won't like Robert Jordan and the Wheel of Time Series, then. The series probably stands at about 6,000 pages so far, with more to come.

I actually just watched TTT a few days ago, and loved it. :) I can't wait for RotK though, the 'Battle for Middle Earth' has gotta be good. :D

The Siege of Gondor should totally rock if the movies' Helm's Deep is any indication. Can't wait to see the Witch-King in all his flaming head (litterally) glory! ;7 :D

Too bad it seems that they scrapped the Scouring of the Shire. I wanted to see the Shire get enslaved and Hobbits get whacked! :lol:

THAT. WAS. AWESOME.

It had a deep story, superb actors, the battle of a lifetime, that really gave me a feeling of desperation, dwarf tossing, and Viggo Mortensen and Christopher Lee..
