i've got a question for the admins here: can you please remove the announcement about vadar_1, it just reminds me of the guy everytime i see it, and i don't wanna be reminded of some hacking idiot! so can you please remove it???

Some people haven't checked the forums yet my friend, many people are on holiday, etc. and haven't seen the announcement yet.  There's only like 6 more days and then it'll disappear for ever

On that note, you'll get used to announcements never dying, and stop even seeing them. I didn't notice the announcement until it was referenced on one of the threads.
