Merry Christmas everyone! :D

Yeah, it's me. I bet some of you don't even know who I am... but you can probably tell by the postcount that this guy's old (well, as old as someone can be on a Forums that's barely been around a year). In any case, it's good to be back... it's like breathing fresh air after living in a congested world for so long. Or maybe like breathing congested air after living in a fresh world for so long... something like that. ;)

Right now, I'm here for about a month - Christmas holidays. :) My latest set of exams are complete, I've just finished a 5-day hike (not far, 61km), and I have three terms (nine months) left in high school. Probably a lot of you are in similar circumstances, except that...

Mum's faring okay. But... you can never say never with things like this. Even remission, while good, isn't certain. But the fact that I'm here is a sign that she's handling pretty well; at least, we think so. :nod:

Anyway, I'm here  for... yes, about a month, four weeks or so. I've no official capcity here, but I'll be frequenting (oh yes, frequenting like I've never frequented before!) the Forums, perhaps posting a bit of news... and we'll see what happens after that. ;)

Glad to you things are going fairly well with you and your family Setekh.  You've been sorely missed around here man.

I've got to be off already for the holiday family deal (Ack 5am leaving the house ...feel like I'm back in the Army! ACK!) but I'll try to catch up with you when I get back home this evening.

I know, we're pathetic. ;) We had some cadets with us who are only 140cm tall... little kids, really. And it was super-flat! The worst I've done (which, truly, is nothing) was 38km in 36 hours, with contours going up and down about plus/minus 1km. :)

Heh - it was basically a flat-out run for most people - I had it as a very-fast-paced walk, since I'm 192cm. :D
