Not really any substance there IMO, i never really got the whole noise thing.
its more to do with having an encounter with pure suffering. supposedly the vocalists are exploited mental patients, who have been put in a very dark basement room together with a few black metal musicians and their instruments. and through their instuments in turn play the mental patients. its about getting a glimpse into hell, not the hell portrayed by religion but real hell, as bad it can possibly get in our world.
i dont usually like the noise genre, like you get with say sunn0)) who play so slowly that its unintrepable. they played a cover of metallica's for whom the bell tolls (which is titled f.w.t.b.t and subtitled: I Dream Of Lars Ulrich Being Ejected Through The Front Window Of The Bus Rather Than My Mystikal Master Cliff Burton), however it remains unrecognizable. there was one band whos name was 1010011010 (666 in binary), and i think they played noise, but then again that coulda just been grindcore. metal archives is down so i cant look it up.
stalaggh is different though. it causes brain damage to listen to it and theyre all about detroying the world so theyre philosophjy is similar to mine. and i guess thats why i like them
i should probibly try to score a copy of projekt misanthropia off ebay, it will be there last song. after that they will change there name to goulaggh and use classical instruments
