the main bedroom had a bathroom, my sisters each had a room and they shared a bathroom by their room, we had a bathroom downstairs which was for the guest room, and we had one in the garage

carpet in the bathroom is simply harder to clean up. That is why tile is prefered, as it doesn't stain, and things come off of it very easily

It's all very well saying "get under floor heating", but when you're poor, like we are, you can't afford such frivoliites.

...nothing wrong with carpets, its warmer on your feet when you get out the shower.


Personally one of my bathrooms has a  wooden floor, with a rug over part of it.  The other bathroom is just lino tiles.
