ok I'm trying to make a mainhall for the Robotech MOD which differs from the FS2 orig. a lot... ála Babylon Project (I'm currently testing it on 1024 res only). And well I thought I got it all figured out but then...

when I move the cursor over any selection (Ready room, optiont etc.) it allways -I repeat allways- tries to exit the game. I compared the mainhall table I had and the B5TC maihall table... and I just couldn't see any clue what they did that I didn't :\
I changed the coordinates... and edited the Mainhall Mask image... what else do I need to to do? Could you help me, please.

Oh and another one... when I make a model with Cinema4D and export it into DXF.. Segeltuch does not show it... it has showed dxf files before, but why not now. Cinema4D can export models into 3DS, so is it possible to continue from there and keep the material/skin.

Edit: Don't use segeltuch it is crap for conversions and whatever it can do..If i d/led a 3ds file ill used Treu Crap to make a cob out of it and then used PCS to convert it to .POF

Maby this is all wrong since i am not a modeler but ask Venom he knows

Quick question for Gortef, is there any way of turning off the link to the techroom in the regular FS2 main hall? (just plain editing it out of the tables)

My attempts to do so haven't worked too well, but if someone who knows how to can do up a techroom edited out 1024x768 default FS2 mainhall, I'd be in their debt...

darkage: I know that segel is not the best one aroud   thanks for the hints

Ace: I'm not sure, I haven't tried it... but take a look at the mainhall.tbl... from there you should be able to remove all references to the techroom

otherwise make the button 1 pixel wide and move it anywhere. people won't find it

That's what Avenger said Venom, the problem is that all you have to do is right click and the main hall cycles between "hotspots" so people can still acess it  

I'll try editing out the tech room again...

Edit: Got it to work, now shmucks will have a *much* harder time crashing FS2

I think it would be cool, if we were going to fly a red alert mission, the mainhall would be on red alert!
