I'm Assuming you reject the non-computational theories of mind that seem to be kicking around in philosophy/cognative studies (perpetuated by people such as Lucas, Penrose and to a slightly lesser extent Bringsjord) at the minute which seem to say otherwise.
What PETA is doing, is saying jews are no better than chickens or cows. Thats what i call sick.
That's one way of looking at the argument, the other is to see it as them saying chickens and cows are no
'worse' (whatever that is supposed to mean) than people (I'm assuming they don't discriminate against jews as opposed to say; Native americals or Turkish Kurds). I see your point that the poster/flyer probably wasn't produced with this philosophical question in mind as opposed to its shock value which I guess could be considered 'sick'.
