Text based game, se NWGA, it's Shrike's baby, maybe you could get some graphics stuff worked out with him.  If that isn't for you talk to Styxx, he has a pretty neat one that he plays

a movie......this sounds fun, i would be willing to do a few things for this project.  My question is though, do we render it, or use the movie maker provided by xp?  Well we can figure that out once we decide what we want to do as a community.  

a seti type project......i think we would need it for the movie

a fred group.  Basically a Mission builder's guild  

i would like to see some people get together and write a tutorial to add to the fred tutorial, the new one would simply be a "how to" manual for the stuff released in the source code project.

Campaigns, definitely.

I'm doing this with my campaign, cos it's gonna take years to finish it otherwise.  It's not especially mod-heavy (though I do hope there will be some), but I'm making it with one of my mates from school, and we're slightly busy with A-level coursework at the moment. I'm going to see if we can get Chapter One (of three) done in the next two or three weeks (it'll be on the website when it's done :thepimp: ).

There definitely needs to be some resource-consolidation going on, because there are an awful lot of campaigns in progress (the campaigns thread had 365 replies last time I checked) which will never see the light of day.

The FRED guild thing would be good as well - it's one of the few things I'm at all competant at! Count me in.

OK so who would head the areas up?  Razor is aperantly gung ho about the Movie and Seti type Idea.

Pyro is aperantly wanting the fredding guild.

There are only a few things i can do with any of these ideas.  My plate is pretty full, but may be clearing out a little, I'd be willing to target the fredding guild, and see about maybe getting some interest in Mini mods.

as far as the movie goes, i would love to see it, but i am not sure how useful i would be.  

Maybe if we can Garner enough interest in these plus the modelers guild, we would warrant a few forums.  Modding is all encompassing, but sub forums such as fredding and Modelling, if we have the interest to warrant them would get my official Okie Dokey.

The Movie would definately be something we would want to look at for a forum, maybe even an internal one.  

We just seem to be growing stagnant while we wait for mods to be released, Casualties got released, and that is a good thing, but we need more of this type of Mod, i am working on one, probably two mini mods.  

Something to look forward to in the short term is a good thing.

Just throwing out some ideas.

Multiplayer is what the source code guys are doing.  as far as anything else goes......it would appear that those of us with full plates will still be the ones doing everything here.

 So then what this thread has really amounted to is a place where people can tell everyone what they want, but then be apathetic about helping to make it happen.  Not at all what i had hoped for, but ok i guess.

Pyro....if you want to do the fredding guild add me to ICQ, or let me know what messenger you have.  And maybe we can both add something else to our plates.
