looks like what happened is somewhere you shifted the dbase by one or two charachters. The dbase is veeeerrry picky when it comes to that stuff, and I screwed it up multiple times myself...

pffft...I found what the problem was...I wasn't reading far enough on the entry's description, so the first few charachters were copied over into the start of the next entry, i.e. it says "StratComm 's eplo GTCa Phoenix " the "eplo" was left over from the previous entry. My fault in the writing of the code...

Here's my advice:

1. Put ships on one page, weapons on another, missions on another... etc. This way even people with slower connections will be able to open pages fast (and it will look more organized).

2.  Split the ships into classes - one page for capital ship, one for fighters, or go even further (cruisers/ destroyers/ carriers/....)
In time this database will get very big, so it's best to think on ahead.

3. You could allso put a special section for Truespace .cob or .scn files. That way people who started doing some ships (and stoped for various reasons) will be able to put them for download for someone else to finish.

High quality job.  Site is a bit slow, well actually i suppose it's only the images hosted at independent servers.  What someone should do is get server and host this ****er on it.  I;m sure someone has a bit of cash somewhere, you'd be doing a service to us all (don't look at me or analazon, we're poor).  But yeah, to analazon, great job i'm sure this will be very helpful for anyone either wanting to check out competition (well i suppose just other's works) and get ideas.

i know this host is really slow, but it works, and it's the only one i have. if anyone has something better, however, i doubt that it would be much trouble to set this up on another server without losing the Dbase.

w00t! User regestration is done...just need to tweak with some stuff until I can get username added to the minimods file.

Note: I am increasing the field sizes by A LOT, so everything is going to need to be put back up under specific usernames.

This is impressive from terms of its implications. I've already discovered a ship I'd never seen before, the Raynor, and its having a great influence on my thinking for Maelstrom. This may actually lead to a few campaigns being released sometime soon *whoops and yays*
