Analazon, you may want to look at the main page.  It looks like you deleted something important along with that 97 meg text file.

And it still won't take my submissions.

tiara, that's because we enlarged some fields and made other modifacation's, sorry

analazon, it's also spelled lonely, lonly. further more, Stratcomm registered 3 times.

GIMME BACK THE OLD DATABASE!

This one doesn't even allow me to add stuff. The links work 50% of the time, takes LONGER to load for me (Don't ask why).

The old one was far better. Easier layout. Easy access to all files. Etc...

on the topic of loading times, it's probably my host, it's a really,. really slow thing. mind you, when i whas on 56kb, things loaded faster then this, en i'm on cable now!

Well, I have double T3 and it loads in about 10-15 secs. So I have no real complaints there. Just that it used to be 5 secs :rolleyes:

Still I don't like this one as much as the first.

it flips out if the file is empty

and tiara...the file is actually a helluva lot smaller than it was last time, so it should take less time to load then before.

and the registration thing not working is really weird :doubt:

found one thing out...why it doesn't give an error if you try to reg the same username multiple times...I might have made the same error in other files...

EDIT: d'oh...that is it...

I'll try to upload the new files...it should work after that...I don't think I'm going to be able to remove the multiple instances of StratComm...but that shouldn't cause any trouble.

EDIT 2: All uploaded! Should work now! (I'm going to test it...)

Hey analazon, your PM box is full.  Anyway, thanks for the heads up on the reopening of the DB and I traced down another bug for your work pile:

I've uncovered the main problem with multiple usernames.  It seems that there is no check for duplicate entries, and as my name is in the system three times I get three posts for every update.  I can get rid of them, but it's cumbersome.

EDIT: Looks like cumbersome may be the way to go, if no one else can get the same bug.

oh-and to delete stuff, just go in to "edit", and select "none" as the type of mod. It won't write it to the file then

I'm still getting three confirmation messages, though I haven't actually added anything since reporting the bug.  However, by editing and setting the mod class to none, I can effectively remove the extra entries even if it doesn't keep me from posting multiple times.

I put in my 2 wallpapers. Made a mistake in one. Gone to edit. Suddenly... POOF! both gone.

I am no longer putting anything in this thing untill its 100% done. Getting a bit tired of this.

Did you remember to re-enter the mod type?  It defaults to none, meaning deletion of the current entry.  Although slow (and my triple post think) I think most of the bugs have been worked out at this point.
